Johnny Utah, Ted, Neo, and so numerous other Keanu places led to one of our favorite Keanu Reeves movie series of all time John Wick. Why is this movie so stupendous? Is it the fast- paced, well- choreographed action sequences? Is it the creative cinematography and set design that draws our attention? Is it that Reeves performed most if not all numbers in the pictures? Whatever it may be, these are just a many of the reasons we love the John Wick pictures in all their glory.
Indeed though the first three flicks alwaysre-watchable and our John Wick Chapter 4 review called the rearmost movie a masterpiece, you may be looking for further indeed more action beyond this ballot.
Check out this list of the stylish pictures like John Wick to try a new shade of Wick.
The Raid 2( 2014)
Where to Watch Netflix, or rentable on other platforms. In what some folks have come to call “ the topmost action movie ever ”, The Raid 2 is the high- octane effect that greatly surpassed its precursor in terms of quality and budget. From the same guys in The Night Comes for Us, the cast completely showcases their fighting and trick chops that surely paved the way for these unborn systems. Keeping this in mind, so far this movie has been entered as their stylish movie to date. Like John Wick, there are plenitude of fight scenes and good secondary characters but in the end, there’s just one joe that single- handedly takes on a small army of assaulters.

nothing( 2021)
Where to Watch HBO Max, or rentable on other platforms.
The veritably new- age action- filled dark comedy that everyone’s talking about is nothing, a movie that takes the “ old guys remonstrating burro ” kidney to the coming position. As the most recent movie on this list, it’s starting to come egregious that workrooms are catching up with what cult want careless violence paired with dark humor. Though it is n’t the first film to do this, it seems they ’ve formerly perfected the formula, only made better by Bob Odenkirk’s stupendous performance and line deliveries. What makes this movie analogous to John Wick is the sheer adaptability of the promoter, suitable to recover from injuries that would destroy any others.

deep Henry( 2015)
Where to Watch Netflix, or rentable on other platforms.
The extreme,over-the-top violence of Hardcore Henry is one of the effects cult fell in love with right down. No disclaimer is needed, theBond-esque preamble is aplenty violent enough to inhibit any uncertain observers. Shot entirely from a first- person perspective, this movie is unique in the way that it can ever give the promoter no face and literally no voice but still make you sympathize with him.
infinitesimal golden( 2017)
Where to Watch Rentable on Amazon and other platforms.
A rockingly antique, kickass movie of transnational spying and double agents, infinitesimal golden is a spectacle that solidifies Charlize Theron as the badass leading lady she is. Set in Berlin, Lorraine Broughton( Theron) is a British asset who must navigate the chaotic megacity during the time the wall came down. As one might guess, it’s hard to know who to trust during the Cold War, performing in numerous twists and turns in the plot.
The Night Comes for Us( 2018)
Where to Watch Netflix
Acclimated from a graphic novel of the same name, The Night Comes for Us is a great story grounded on the horrifying conduct and events caused by the Triad A Chinese crime syndicate that reigns supreme over a large number of countries around the world. The action is graphic yet amusing with a blend of styles like Kill Bill and John Wick combined to produce a bloodier yet slightly inordinate sequence of events. The thing that makes it unique is that this story feels bleaker and further hopeless from the launch, creating further of an art- house feeling that stays with you.

Taken( 2008)
Where to Watch Starz, or rentable on other platforms.
Like Commando, Taken is about a son being stolen down from the bone
joe you do n’t want to steal from. Like John Wick, Brian Mills( Liam Neeson) is a man of unshakeable focus when it comes to achieving his thing to kill anyone and everyone responsible for his abducted son.
birth( 2020)
Where to Watch Netflix
Another story of a lone wolf that takes on the world, birth boasts virtuallynon-stop action – after a short, story- structure preface – and some of the most intricate trick work in ultramodern- day cinema. Considering the director, Sam Hargrave, was the trick fellow on pictures like punishers Endgame and another point on our list infinitesimal golden, this movie was always guaranteed to exceed in at least that department.
The Villainess( 2017)
Where to Watch FuboTV, Peacock, or rentable on other platforms.
A bit further story driven than John Wick, The Villainess stands out on this list as having some moments of creative fight cinematography that will raise your prospects for fighting pictures ever. The most analogous effects about this movie are the fighting styles, the choreography( they did the katana motorcycle fighting scene two times before John Wick Chapter 3 did), and indeed some of the set designs are evocative. This is one of two pictures on this list with a womanish promoter and boy does Kim Ok- bin give an inconceivable performance.

Commando( 1985)
Where to Watch Hulu, or rentable on other platforms.
A Schwarzenegger classic, Commando is another film on this list that shows us how far a man can go when someone takes his son from him. John Matrix( Schwarzenegger) may not be your favorite action promoter, but you more believe that Arnold( as a retired Special Forces Colonel) is truly a one- man army. As far as inelegant 80s action pictures go, this bone
’s over there in the species for silly. With its inordinate explosions and a Freddie Mercury- nominated villain, there are some laughable moments that arguably make the adventure indeed more pleasurable.
The Man From Nowhere( 2010)
Where to Watch Prime Video, FuboTV, Peacock, or rentable on other platforms.
A kidney- mixing film that kicks burro and might bring a gash to your eye, The Man From Nowhere( also known as This Man) is a beautiful mix of rudiments that naturally balance each other out. Despite a many corny editing and score choices throughout the film, the plot, performances, and action are all relatively emotional. The characters are delightful and well- written, giving it an fresh uproarious angle at times. It does n’t contain relatively as important action as John Wick but the vengeance- grounded plot fluently makes the figure- over well worth the delay. With a Rotten Tomatoes score of 100, it’s hard to overlook the great rates of this film.
